whoa, whoa, ho ho ho!

Look at me! Look at me!
I got a new camera for Christmas. And i'm thrilled!!! My hubby sure spoiled me, and I am quite happy about it ;)
I love taking pictures. I'm not good at it, I just like to capture a moment in time. Even if the pictures aren't of much, they are always fun to go back and look at.
Here are the first two taken on Christmas day.

We had a wonderful Christmas, and I hope you did too!
We spent the day with family, and eating a little too much food.
But never enough chocolate oranges.... YUM! (My favorite treat)

Loved talking to my brother!!

And lastly... a few of my Christmas decorations. (I was mainly just having fun taking pics with my camera!)

P.S.... I made that wreath!! Seriously I did. Cool right?

Weekend

Well once again, it's getting harder to post. School has started, I pretty much have a full time job with part time hours, and me & Taylor are moving to a new apartment. Plus, we are going camping this weekend. Which I am so so excited about. Also, in our new place, we do not have internet yet... so it might be a while before we get that and before I get another post in haha. I bought a new car. Well its not "new", but it is for me :) I have been looking for a car for a while now and could never find a good enough deal for me. I was picky. Then Taylor mentioned that Tori Hafen would be selling her car because they were going to get a new one. So I bought Tori's car! Easy as that! It was just easier to buy it from her because I know her and I know she wasn't lying to me (like every other car sales person in the world)! I will eventually post pictures.. but for now, enjoy the lovely words that I am typing. How exciting haha. Have a wonderful long weekend! I will be enjoying myself while camping! Adios.

Also.. .for all of you interested in my brother Elder Ovard... you can read about his experiences HERE.

Read me to find your laugh for the week

Please. Read THIS. You will not regret it. I haven't stopped laughing about it since I read it. Its hilarious!!!! Also, my husband just asked me if I was going to send him to an orphanage because he isn't the best cleaner... and now he is fake crying... he also wants you to know that he told a girl in our 6 year old primary class that she could only have a crumb of one cookie and she believed him. She reached out her poor little hand and said "ahh okay."  He thought he was quite hilarious. I thought it was too. I love him. Now go read that story!!!

Bridals by Hayley

Hayley Bradshaw was so sweet and asked if she could take our pictures as a gift to us for our wedding. It was a lot of fun and much more relaxing. I love how the pictures turned out!

My favorite is this last picture!! I love dancing with Taylor. He's handsome huh.

Story Time

So I have a story for you all.
As long as you won't think I'm crazy...
Isn't being married so much fun? You finally get to fall asleep and wake up with the love of your life still by your side! I love waking up in the middle of the night to Taylor pulling me closer, or just to him awake and unable to sleep.. which is quite normal. But who ever thinks of all the other stuff that can happen in your sleep? When you're next to your husband?
WELL.......
I sleep like a baby at night. I lay down, and I'm out. Easy as that. One night, as I'm dreaming as good as ever (like always), I wake up to a startle. I sat up in bed faster then I ever had before. "Did I really just do that?? Oh my heck, what is going on??" I remember Taylor's leg underneath mine...
OH SHOOT.
I run to the bathroom...
I had peed my  pants!!! I remember peeing in my dream, but I was really going in real life!!!
Who does that when they are twenty years old?
I could not stop laughing. I get changed and head for the bed... where Taylor is so peacefully sleeping with pee all over his leg...
I sit down and he jumps up.
"What?! What?! What is going on?!" He's tired and really confused so he jumps up out of bed..
"Where were you??" He now feels his leg... "Why is my leg all wet?"
I just started laughing. I couldn't even help it. He didn't need to ask anything else. He walked strait to the bathroom.
When he came back to bed I snuggled up to him and he asked me what happened. I tell him my story, he laughs, and starts to fall back asleep.
But for me?? I could not stop giggling. I thought he was going to be mad since he had to wake up in a couple hours for work at 6, but later that morning he said that he couldn't help but smile when he heard me laughing. I love that boy!!! What a great story {i guess} haha!
Gotta love being married! Sorry if this story was a little too much but I just think its too funny not to share :)

First "home"

Looking for a place to live is a big deal... and a big pain!! When we found a casita for rent we thought it would be so much fun... now it is just a bit too small!! We are hoping to move soon. But, we have had fun here and it was a good little first home!!

This is where we eat... We feel like 3 year olds because the chairs are so low and we can barely see our food haha!

My enormous kitchen... I feel like i can't cook anything!!! No oven, no stove top :( besides my little plug in. But we make it work!
These are my favorite house decoration. They are the flowers from our wedding cake and I love them!!
I didn't realize this picture was so blurry... but yes, that is pretty much the whole house!! haha.
And I wanted to show you this picture to remind you all again how much I love beans and chips. Yes, I still eat them all the time. YUM!

The Honeymoon

Back in January, my mom called me and Taylor to come home now. Right then. Soon. Taylor wasn't very happy. There was a Jazz game on. But we went. And guess what she tells us... that she has won a cruise from one of her business parties. And she was giving it to us for our honeymoon. WHAT?? Are you kidding me?!? We were so excited! Free cruise to Mexico! It couldn't have worked out better. BUT, better yet, we came to find out that our buddies Alex and Tori Hafen had booked the same exact cruise as us! We were so excited to  go with our friends and have us some fun!!! And boy we sure did!!

We started out in California. We all drove down together to Long Beach. We just HAD to stop at the tallest thermometer in the world. I mean, who can pass that up?? We also tried to stop at the Buffalo Bills roller coaster for me and Tori but it wasn't open yet :( :( i've always wanted to ride that dang thing!!!

On our way to the Cruise ship!! Someone told us to do a serious face...

Our room!!

 our deck...

Our first din din

They brought out flowers for all the women because it was Mothers Day (oops!) and at the time.... i seriously thought I was going to be a mother! haha!! Who know you could be off by a month and a half and still not be prego :)
Our waiters brought out cake for us "honeymooners", and sang us a beautiful song to go with it. "Happy honeymoon to you, kissy kissy". To the tune of "Happy Birthday". When they said kissy kissy, they really meant kissy kissy!!! We didn't realize that, and by the time we did, we were laughing too hard to even try. It was so dang funny. Then our waiter did the most hilarious finger movement that I really wish i could explain/show. But i just can't.
Our first day at sea... we got a little bored.

The boys decided to play some basketball game

 The first elegant night

dinner once again

shark... eww

my delicious peach soup

This is where our lovely fellow cruise mate fell and smacked her nose right on the ledge on which we are sitting now. At the time, we were sitting in those chairs to the right. She did not catch her fall at all. She had lots of people to help around her though. It was very sad/gruesome, but we ended up getting a chuckle out of it. So we took a picture to remember our event.
late night pizza run!

Day four: Peurto Villarta

On our way to go Zip Lining!! We had SUCH a blast! We weren't allowed to take pictures while zip lining, but it was seriously so fun. We couldn't stop laughing.

 What a feast

Predator in the background! haha
later that night...
 at the comedian
the DELICIOUS warm chocolate melting cake me and Tori got every single night
Every night they would have animals on our bed for us!

Overall, we had a BLAST on our cruise!! Sorry this post was terribly long. I should have thought it through better! It was so nice to go on a cruise because they do everything for you. We could completely relax and do whatever we wanted. We even had room service! I mean seriously, that rocks!

This was our last night on the cruise

this was on our bed the last night
bye bye cruise! You treated us well!
